Apple’s 36GB M5 Max MacBook is a massive $900 off today (Amazon all-time low)

Okay, well, this is one beast of a M5 Max MacBook Pro, but the deal is just too deep to ignore. Needless to say this one is certainly not for everyone, but Amazon is offering the 2026 M5 Max MacBook Pro with the 16-inch display and 36GB of RAM at a massive $900 off right now.

Amazon is offering the 16-inch M5 Max MacBook Pro with 36GB of RAM and the 2TB storage capacity at $3,499 shipped.

That a crazy expensive laptop, for sure, but we are talking about a super powerful machine that carries an insane $4,399 list price here.

Not only is this $900 off the Apple price tag, but this is a good deal even by pre-price hike standards.

As we have discussed previously, the real measure of how good a deal on a current-generation MacBook is these days is how the current deal price compares to the pre-price hike list. This machine launched earlier this year at $3,899 and is now $400 less than that despite the late June increase.

More to the point, we have never tracked this machine for less than $3,649 at Amazon, before or after the price increase, until now.

Again, this still a super-pricey investment for a MacBook and one that’s not even a consideration at just about any deal price for most folks, but when we see a current-generation MacBook at a wild $900 off, no matter what config it is, it deserves some airtime.

Apple is about to unleash some next-generation MacBook Pro machines, but you certainly aren’t going to be getting one of those at $900 off, and who knows how much those potential OLED displays and touchscreens will run you.
