Update 11/24:

Amazon has the Segway MiniLITE self-balancing scooter on sale for $299.99 shipped. Normally costing $500, this is the first notable drop we’re seeing on the new self-balancing scooter. With 700-watts of engine power and 11-miles of range, this is both a toy and a tool that can be used to get around town efficiently. Though this unit is fairly new and doesn’t have many reviews, Segway products are generally very well-rated.

Segway MiniLITE self-balancing scooter features:

  • 700 watts of Engine power
  • 10.5-inch air-filled pneumatic tires providing smoother rides
  • 11 miles of range on a fully charged battery and a top speed of 10 mph (depending on rider’s weight and riding habits)
  • Ul-2272 certified-meets high standards of fire and electrical safety set by world-renown global safety science company underwriters laboratories
  • Max payload of 175 pounds

Enjoy instant mobility with this Segway MiniLITE scooter. Its large pneumatic tires provide a smooth, stable ride, and the mobile app lets you maintain performance stats, run diagnostics and capture personal settings. This Segway MiniLITE scooter weighs about 27.5 lbs., and its knee control bar doubles as a steering mechanism and carry handle.
