The award was presented by KAPI (Kids at Play Interactive) and the panel of judges selected the VTech watch from over 500 tech products released in 2017. With its two cameras, watch faces that teach kids to tell time and included games, this is definitely not just a toy watch.
VTech originally released the Kidizoom Smartwatch a few years back and with it started a new craze of wearable technology available for kids.
Now, with even more high-tech features, the all new Kidizoom Smartwatch DX2 has a sleek new design and all new games kids can play. Plus, it comes with specialized watch faces designed to teach your kids how to tell time. Also, it has two embedded cameras to capture everything your kids want to show you including action videos and of course selfies too.
Your kids can even customize the photos they take with the included Silly Yourself app and make them into new watch faces if they want to. With augmented reality (AR) and the cameras on the watch, your kids can now chase around creatures in VTech’s own Monster Catcher game as well.
There’s also a pedometer to keep your kids active and tracking their steps each day. Other features include an alarm, timer and stopwatch. You’ll even find a calculator so your child can work out simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems.

The VTech DX2 comes in black, blue, purple or camouflage, and it has 55 digital and analog watch faces to choose from. Plus, there’s a bunch of mini games for your kid to play using the touchscreen. With the included microUSB cable you and your child can upload photos and videos, recharge the battery and download extra free content like games and different watch faces from VTech’s Learning Lodge.
