This Diskstation is a high-performance, backup storage and server solution for home and office. While no drives are included with the DiskStation, it supports a max capacity of 6TB.
With the included Gigabit LAN port, you can connect the DiskStation to your router and access it locally on your network and it supports cross-platform file sharing between Ubuntu, Mac and Windows computers.
The DiskStation can function as a variety of different servers, whether you need it to store and stream photos, video, audio or data within your office or over the internet. You can use it as a server for FTP, Mail, UPnP media devices, printing, iTunes, photos, videos, hosting websites, operating surveillance webcams or downloading bit torrent, http, FTP or eMule files.
