Target offers the recently released Roku 3 (4230R) streaming media player with voice search for $84.99 shipped (price reflected in cart). This is the first discount that we’ve seen on the newly upgraded model, its regular list price is $99.99 at retailers such as Amazon.
Building on the strength of the popular previous generation Roku 3, this new model has voice search capability and the ‘Roku Feed’ which tracks content, availability and pricing. The new enhanced remote control allows users to find new content simply by speaking, which is activated by pressing a button on the remote. Roku offers over 2,000 streaming channels, from Sling TV, Netflix, Hulu Plus and more.
By adding voice search, Roku has placed itself out in front of the pack at this point.
