Next up, Amazon offers the pre-order of Apollo 13 – 20th Anniversary Edition on Blu-ray w/ Digital HD for $13.49 Prime shipped. Also available at Target. This is the lowest price that it has been at Amazon since it began accepting reservations last month and the best current offer. Amazon states that it will ship in June.
This classic movie details the Apollo 13 mission that was carried out in 1970 by three United States Astronauts. Following massive internal damage, the pilots on board must find a way to return home safely with little power left in the ship. Apollo 13 won two Oscars and was nominated for 26 others including Best Picture and Best Visual Effects. Rated 4.5/5 stars by Amazon customers.
