The Google Play Store is currently offering a free MP3 download of Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here album. This is the ninth album released by the rock group. It was recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios and features hit tracks like Wish You Were Here and Shine On You Crazy Diamond. This album retails for $14 at Amazon and $8 on iTunes. Note: You must be logged into your Google account to download these tracks.
Amazon also has a number of free MP3 albums available for download today. There is a nice mix of sampler collections, individual albums and greatest hits. These MP3s will be come a permanent part of your music collection after you have downloaded them.
