Much like last year, Verizon will be offering its customers free data and other goodies leading up to Thanksgiving. You’ll be able to get 1GB of additional data on qualifying plans through your next billing cycle plus a $5 iTunes credit, 30-day free trial to Pandora One and more.

Verizon’s Thanksgetting promotion is two-fold: today, you can claim your free 1GB of data. The rest of the freebies launch next Wednesday. At a minimum, you should taker advantage of the free 1GB. That extra bit of data will come in handy as you travel over the next six weeks, streaming media, posting pictures, etc.
Next Wednesday, you’ll be able to grab a free iTunes $5 voucher, plus eBooks at Amazon, a 30-day trial to Pandora One and more. That’s good for a couple of free iOS games or a HD rental to watch when your family is driving you nuts at Thanksgiving. We’ll send out a tweet on Wednesday when this part of the promotion is live.

Thanks for posting new deals, I have to ask if you know why your bit.ly links won’t load in the iOS 9 Safari browser. I get an error that says: ” A problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded.” It won’t load at all. I haven’t been able to follow your links since I upgraded to 9.
Interesting, we’re not having an issue on our end. Do you have a content/ad blocker installed?
I think it may have been the crystal ad blocker. I quit using it now and your links work again. I’m going to switch to something with a whitelist so I can disable it here.
Careful of the free 1 GB data. My data resets on the 23rd. That 1 GB is only through the end of your current billing cycle. So I am going to wait (not that I ever come close, I already have 4 GB free and barely touch my 10 GB now.)
It’s actually good through your next billing cycle, so you shouldn’t have an issue!
