Square Enix announces Hitman Go: Definitive Edition for PS4, Vita and PC

The excellent Hitman Go launched on iOS and Android back in the Spring of 2014 and has received fantastic reviews since. After the board-game style mechanics spawned Apple iPhone Game of the Year 2015 Lara Croft Go a little over a year later, Square Enix is now ready to take Agent 47’s mobile game to consoles and the desktop.

Announced alongside the trailer below, Hitman Go: Definitive Edition is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Vita and PC (via Steam) on February 23rd for $7.99. It will include both updated visuals and all of the add-on content Square has dropped for the mobile title thus far, along with cross-buy/save on PS4 and Vita.

The timing is interesting here, as Square is prepping to launch the next main console game in the long-running Hitman series in just under a month now. The episodic-style console title is set to feature much larger and more interactive environments, along with some very interesting multiplayer elements. Amazon Prime members can currently pre-order the title for $47.99 shipped, which include some Amazon exclusive bonuses: Requiem Legacy Suit, Blood Money Shirt, Tie, Gloves, and Silenced ICA-19 Chrome White Rubber Duck Explosive.
