Rockstar has now officially announced an upcoming “extended look” at Grand Theft Auto 6 for later this month and we have the teaser trailer as well as all of the details for you right here. It will debut on Netflix and YouTube.

The Switch 2 leaks aren’t done just yet (and probably never will be) and Diablo VI for Switch 2 is up next. It’s not the Ocarina of Time release date, but we have it on good authority the long-awaited Diablo IV Switch 2 release is all but imminent and now more than likely just over a month away. 

The new Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass expansion and the new FREE content update for folks who already own the game are going live today. It is Nintendo Direct day folks. While it’s not the big September showcase or the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake blowout we are all waiting, this morning Nintendo is set to go live with dedicated 20-minute broadcast on next month’s big Switch 2 release. 

Two of the biggest launches in recent memory might very well be landing in the same month this year – GTA VI and The end of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. Grand Theft Auto VI will land on November 19, this we know for sure, but it looks like there now might be good reason to believe Nintendo could go toe-to-toe with the Rockstar behemoth. 

Update 8/3: We knew it wasn’t going to last forever, but Nintendo is now informing folks that the Choose your Game Switch 2 bundle is “‘ENDING SOON’ and quite possibly right before the price hike goes like in September of this year.

There’s only one month left before Nintendo Switch 2 consoles get even more expensive. You could hope to get lucky and land one of those very short-lived discounts we caught at Amazon a couple weeks ago, or you could jump on one of the discounts now while you still can.

Nintendo just officially announced the next Nintendo Direct. Don’t get too excited – it’s not the Ocarina of Time show you’re likely waiting on, but Fire Emblem fans are in for a dedicated show this week to get a better look at Fortune’s Weave ahead of release in mid September.

Just about every Switch 2 release over the last several months has been available with the pre-order discount at retail before jumping back to the full MSRP once it launches, if not even sooner. While it has been slow going as of late, Nintendo is finally updating the Switch 2 Nintendo Classics GameCube library again with a new Mario game, and we are going to take an updated look at the lineup for summer 2026. 

Grand Theft Auto VI is coming, and quickly at that. Now less than 4 months away from your console, we are yet to see any gameplay for what might be the most anticipated game release in history, and the internet is anxiously waiting. It’s been over a year since we got a proper trailer, never mind gameplay, but, according to an insider with a very good track record, that will likely soon change, and it could be as soon as next week. 

PlayStation has officially announced that it will stop producing physical games discs, and some folks are not happy about it. And while this move isn’t expected to happen for over a year from now, almost all physical games on the official PlayStation Store are already out of stock. 

Sony has now revealed the upcoming August PlayStation Plus freebies. This means the clock is ticking on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III – Cross-Gen Bundle and the rest of July’s freebies, but we do know what titles will be landing in the August Monthly Game library for members now. 

While we are still awaiting the official release date for Switch 2’s biggest release of the year – The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, as well as an official launch for FromSoft’s The Duskbloods, it is time to take stock of the games confirmed to be landing on Switch in 2026. There is a long list of titles already locked down for 2026, from James Bond and brick-built Batman to the new Switch Sports Resort game, the Kingdom Hearts collection, and more. Let’s dive in.

Switch 2 gamers everywhere are soon to the field of Hyrule as Nintendo ramps up for the launch of what is widely expected to be its biggest holiday launch – The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. Rumors and leaks have been flying since well before Nintendo made the remake official, and that special edition Zelda Switch 2 console is surfacing again, but it might not be the Ocarina of Time model. 

While all of the latest PlayStation news has been surrounding Sony’s insistence on ridding its gaming ecosystem of disc-based gaming, despite waves of backlash, one title you will be able to score on disc is the new Marvel’s Wolverine game set for release later this year. And Sony just dropped a new “Story Trailer” to give us some insight into the narrative for Logan’s upcoming adventure. 

PlayStation sadly announced it will stop producing actual game discs come 2028 – folks are not happy about it – but you can to re-live the golden years of PlayStation forever with the new 2026 Hallmark PlayStation Console with Light and Sound ornament. It is now available for pre-order on Amazon alongside some of the new Nintendo and models, and more. 

Things have been rough over at Xbox lately with mass layoffs spanning some of its biggest studios, id Software, Bethesda, and Obsidian included. But it’s not all doom and gloom as Bethesda has just confirmed a number of new projects in the works, including an all-new Fallout game from Obsidian, as well as remasters for Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. 

This year’s big Switch 2 game release, at least for many folks, is the now confirmed The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake. Nintendo has said it is coming this year, but it has yet to show us any gameplay or provide a release date. However, GameStop might have just leaked the pre-order date. 

One of this year’s big new PS5 releases will see Insomniac bring another one of Marvel’s biggest super heroes like never before as Marvel’s Wolverine is officially set for release this September. Pre-orders for the new game are now live, and Sony just unleashed one of the most epic trailers yet. 

The Zelda Ocarina of Time remake is set for release in 2026, but as we await a proper gameplay reveal and the actual release date, Hasbro and Nintendo have now officially announced a licensing partnership to debut a series of new toys and collectibles based on the beloved Zelda franchise. 

It appears as though Nintendo could be in the process of developing a new Switch 2 console with an OLED display, according to reports. 

Alongside the return of discounts on a series of new upcoming Switch 2 games, and all of the deals you’ll find in this morning’s roundup, Nintendo is now letting folks play the new Yoshi and the Mysterious Book for FREE. 

We knew it was coming after stories flooded the net over the last week, but Xbox just announced a massive number of layoffs with plans to dump roughly 20% off its staff starting today.

But after having what will almost certainly be its major holiday Switch 2 game leaked months ahead of time, and countless number of others, a new, as of yet un-announced Metroid game has now surfaced online. 

Say goodbye to physical PlayStation games on a disc folks. Rockstar just put the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto 6 up for pre-order with no disc in the box – some gamers were very much not happy about this. And now, in an official post on the PlayStation Blog, Sony just announced it will no longer release physical discs for new games launching on PlayStation consoles. 

After years of leaks Bethesda finally shadow dropped the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in mid 2025, and after receiving its fair share of rumors, we now have an official release date for the Switch 2 edition. 

Pre-orders are now live and flying for the highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI. The game, as I’m sure you all know by know, is only launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a PC presumably in the works for a future release (as per usual with Rockstar), but a new leak suggests the rumored Switch 2 version is inbound too.

Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders are in full swing at Amazon, Walmart, GameStop, and elsewhere, about gazillion people have already secured a copy, and Rockstar still hasn’t even showed us any real gameplay. It hasn’t even really detailed much more than the game world at this point, but Amazon is not only in the midst of its giant Prime Day sale right now, but it also might have just leaked some new tidbits regarding real-time protagonist switching, in-game social network action that ties into secret side missions, and more.
