This year’s big Switch 2 game release, at least for many folks, is the now confirmed The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake. Nintendo has said it is coming this year, but it has yet to show us any gameplay or provide a release date. However, GameStop might have just leaked the pre-order date. 

One of this year’s big new PS5 releases will see Insomniac bring another one of Marvel’s biggest super heroes like never before as Marvel’s Wolverine is officially set for release this September. Pre-orders for the new game are now live, and Sony just unleashed one of the most epic trailers yet. 

The Zelda Ocarina of Time remake is set for release in 2026, but as we await a proper gameplay reveal and the actual release date, Hasbro and Nintendo have now officially announced a licensing partnership to debut a series of new toys and collectibles based on the beloved Zelda franchise.

Amazon just dropped the price on the official Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle by $50, and with an official price hike inbound, this might very well be the very best deal we see on a Nintendo console for a long while.

It appears as though Nintendo could be in the process of developing a new Switch 2 console with an OLED display, according to reports. 

As has been the case for several months now, the pre-order deals on the new Splatoon Raiders are very likely to disappear as soon as the game launches next week on July 23. That means you have little more than a week to secure your physical copy of the game without paying full price. While we are still awaiting the official release date for Switch 2’s biggest release of the year – The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, as well as an official launch for FromSoft’s The Duskbloods, it is time to take stock of the games confirmed to be landing on Switch in 2026. There is a long list of titles already locked down for 2026, from James Bond and brick-built Batman to the new Switch Sports Resort game, the Kingdom Hearts collection, and more. Let’s dive in. 

Alongside the return of discounts on a series of new upcoming Switch 2 games, and all of the deals you’ll find in this morning’s roundup, Nintendo is now letting folks play the new Yoshi and the Mysterious Book for FREE. 

It has been a mixed bag as of late for PlayStation fans – PS Plus prices went up and Sony just announced it has plans to stop selling physical game discs, but we did also just get GTA VI pre-orders and now, the July PlayStation Plus Monthly Games have been announced. 

We knew it was coming after stories flooded the net over the last week, but Xbox just announced a massive number of layoffs with plans to dump roughly 20% off its staff starting today. 

Nintendo has had a tough year when it comes to leaks (more like two years at this point), which is to be expected in and around a major new console release. But after having what will almost certainly be its major holiday Switch 2 game leaked months ahead of time, and countless number of others, a new, as of yet un-announced Metroid game has now surfaced online. 

Say goodbye to physical PlayStation games on a disc folks. Rockstar just put the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto 6 up for pre-order with no disc in the box – some gamers were very much not happy about this. And now, in an official post on the PlayStation Blog, Sony just announced it will no longer release physical discs for new games launching on PlayStation consoles. 

After years of leaks Bethesda finally shadow dropped the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in mid 2025, and after receiving its fair share of rumors, we now have an official release date for the Switch 2 edition. 

Pre-orders are now live and flying for the highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI. The game, as I’m sure you all know by know, is only launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a PC presumably in the works for a future release (as per usual with Rockstar), but a new leak suggests the rumored Switch 2 version is inbound too.

Okay here we go! Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-orders are now live. Retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and others are at the ready to take orders on boxed copies and you won’t have to pay until later this year when it launches in November. Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders are in full swing at Amazon, Walmart, GameStop, and elsewhere, about gazillion people have already secured a copy, and Rockstar still hasn’t even showed us any real gameplay. It hasn’t even really detailed much more than the game world at this point, but Amazon is not only in the midst of its giant Prime Day sale right now, but it also might have just leaked some new tidbits regarding real-time protagonist switching, in-game social network action that ties into secret side missions, and more.

Amazon’s giant Prime Day sale might be in full swing right now, but Grand Theft Auto 6 goes up for pre-order tomorrow (or tonight at midnight rather). Rockstar has not only detailed the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition and the pre-order bonus, we now have the official price.

How much will Grand Theft Auto 6 cost? After years of waiting, a pair of high-profile delays, and a particularly cruel false start to pre-orders courtesy of Best Buy, it’s finally happening – Grand Theft Auto is officially going up for pre-order next week. Nintendo hosted its big summer Nintendo Direct presentation this week and it was…good. Not great, but good. I think the bevy of Nintendo leaks that have hit this year dulled the experience significantly for many folks, myself included, Nintendo stock has taken a bit of nose dive because of it, and more importantly, there’s more than a few gamers that walked away from the presentation far less excited than they should have been. So what’s next from Nintendo: Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time limited edition Switch 2 console? A proper influx of major Game Cube titles? Is there one more surprise 2026 game release? 

Here we go! It’s a big day for fans of the Mushroom Kingdom and Hylian heroes everywhere as Nintendo is set to livestream the big summer Nintendo Direct we have all been waiting for, and it all goes live this morning.
