Star Wars Day 2026 is on the horizon, Nintendo has launched its annual Star Wars eShop sale, and now it’s time for Xbox. The official Xbox May the 4th sale is now live from now through Tuesday, May 5 with nearly 45 titles and DCL add-ons at up to 80% off. You’ll find everything from LEGO classics right through to some of the more modern AAA titles like the Star Wars Outlaws Deluxe Edition marked down from $90 to just $22.50 in digital form. Before they are gone for good, as there’s no telling how long these deals will last for, or when these games might ever be on sale again, this morning we are highlighting the Walmart pre-order deals on the brand new Yoshi and the Mysterious Book and Splatoon Raiders for Switch 2. Both games are up for pre-order at $10 off right now in physical boxed form:

April 26th is Alien Day and the dev team at Creative Assembly just dropped a new teaser for the upcoming Alien Isolation sequel. 

Nintendo is continuing to update its popular Switch 2 GameCube library and now that we have moved into 2026 it’s time to take an updated look at the lineup. 

Gaming’s “worst kept secret” will be officially revealed today when Ubisoft hits the button on today’s Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced: Worldwide Reveal Showcase very soon. 

Nintendo announced the release date for the new Yoshi and the Mysterious Book on Switch 2 last month. Just after that it revealed that digital copies of the game would be $10 less expensive – much like we just saw with the new Splatoon Raiders – and now it has dropped a new overview trailer with more details on Yoshi’s first solo outing on Switch 2. 

Ubisoft will officially reveal the new Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake today and the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Collector’s Edition has already leaked on Amazon France. 

Not all Switch 2 accessories are made equal, some of them look like an actual Piranha Plant that double as a TV docking station for your Switch 2, charges all sorts of joy-Con pairs at the same time, features glow night lighting, and posable arms. 

One of the most notable changes to the Xbox ecosystem since the new CEO stepped in is a price cut for both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, which takes effect today. The new pricing has Game Pass Ultimate dropping from $29.99 to $22.99 per month, while PC Game Pass falls to $13.99, down from $16.49. The rest of the Game Pass lineup isn’t seeing any adjustments, so those tiers remain at the same rates introduced after Microsoft’s price increase last October. Head below for more details.

This morning Nintendo officially revealed the summer release date for the single-player Splatoon Raiders Switch 2 game. Pre-orders are now live on the Nintendo Store, but, perhaps even better is the price – it looks like digital Switch 2 games will indeed be less expensive than physical boxed copies as we suspected. 

Nintendo has just confirmed the Splatoon Raiders release date. This is the next in the long line of Nintendo leaks and rumors to come true – it releases this summer.

Just as we expected and just as the leakers leaked, the official Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced: Worldwide Reveal Showcase will wash ashore this week. 

Update 4/20: It’s official – Ubisoft announces worldwide reveal for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake

A full-blown Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag remake is all but imminent at this point. In fact, Ubisoft has already confirmed the existence of the new Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced, folks have already seen it in action ahead of this week’s expected official reveal, and we have some details for you below – this is not just a basic remaster for modern platforms. 

An Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake is inbound, and very soon. For me personally, it is the earlier AC games that deliver the nostalgia and fondest memories, but for many, Black Flag really hit the sweet spot and Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced is purportedly set for release this summer. 

Earlier this week, Xbox promised a dedicated first-look showcase for the new Metro 2039, and has followed through. Today’s broadcast is about to go live and it’s all waiting for you below. 

Will Sony reveal a new, proper God of War game this year? It sure sounds like it will and some new leaks and rumors have surfaced suggesting the setting more details. 

Rockstar got hacked again, in case you missed it, and the culprits are demanding it pays up by tomorrow or they will leak GTA 6 all over the interwebs. Or something, or not at all, because Rockstar has now released a statement saying the hackers didn’t actually steal anything of value (by the sounds of it). 

Just after inking the date and time for its giant annual summer Games Showcase, Xbox Wire has just confirmed we will be getting our first good look at the new Metro 2039 this week. 

The limited time Switch 2 Mario Galaxy bundle is now live. As part of the theatrical release of the new Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Nintendo has delivered a few fun new releases and promotions. And special limited time Nintendo Switch 2 console bundle packaged with Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 – it is now available for purchase on Amazon. 

The 2026 Nintendo leaks just keep coming. While not nearly as high-profile as the Zelda Ocarina of Time remake or even the rumored upcoming Star Fox game, it looks like Switch 2 will be getting some Marvel superhero action soon too. 

As part of the new My Mario toy and collectible lineup, Nintendo unleashed a FREE Hello, Mario! App on iOS, Android, and the eShop earlier this year, and now the new Hello, Yoshi! edition is live. 

While we are still waiting to see what Nintendo has next for the Switch 2 Game Cube library, the April 2026 NES Nintendo Classics updates and the companion trailer have arrived. And these ones didn’t leak ahead of time, like everything else Nintendo has on is release schedule this year.

James Bond’s next outing on home consoles is quickly approaching if you have a PS5 or Xbox anyway – the Switch 2 version has been delayed until later this summer. We are, however, getting our first look at the new 007 First Light Limited Edition DualSense Wireless Controller. 

When is the next major Switch 2 game announcement going to be? Well, apparently very soon. Rumors and relatively reliable leakers have been divulging Nintendo’s 2026 release plans for a few weeks now, but it looks like what might very possibly be the most reliable of them all has just doubled down saying the first of these big announcements will happen this month. 

Nintendo has a serious leak problem right now, as we have already discussed. It seems as though just about all of its major 2026 releases have already surfaced online, leaving very little to the imagination when it comes to the upcoming summer and holiday Switch 2 release schedule. There are couple of other titles that have been mentioned among the leaks and, while they don’t come from sources quite as reliable as some of the others, if they do end up coming to fruition we could be in for a new Wario Land game and a potential new classic Metroid remake this year. 

Nintendo has now officially announced a new Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 Nintendo Switch 2 console bundle. I guess not everything it had planned to announce this year already leaked (but a whole bunch of it seems like it has).
