Since the Apple Watch was first released last Spring, we’ve seen a plethora of alternative bands for this timepiece. Apple has a handful of official options. You can also find cost-effective alternatives on Amazon. As the accessory market has grown, one of our favorite trends has been established watchmakers that have developed their own line of third-party bands.

Throne offers two different leather options designed specifically for Apple Watch. The bands are sourced from American tanneries and come in Cognac and Black in both 38/42mm sizes. Each model features an Apple Watch-compatible lug, hand-stitched accents, and a double band-keeper.
Although Apple offers official leather bands, it has a very manufactured feel to it. Throne has done an excellent job of blending design and craftsmanship for a luxurious handmade feel. I’ve been using the Cognac band for a few months now. It’s a great option for everyday use or dress up occasions.
