Final Fantasy XV gets a new playable demo, now available for free on PS4 and Xbox One

While you may have had a chance to play Final Fantasy XV with the Duscae demo as part of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Square has now released another quick taste of what to expect. In fact, this time around we are getting a completely standalone experience as opposed to a vertical slice directly from the upcoming game.

Now available for download on PlayStayion 4 and Xbox One, the free “Platinum Demo” will take players through the dreams of a young Noctis with the help of his furry friend Carbuncle.

You can catch the trailer and more details below. And remember, Amazon Prime members can still pre-order Final Fantasy XV for just $47.99 shipped before it hits on September 30th (same goes for the Deluxe version of the game), along with the Final Fantasy VII: Remake for the same price.

PLATINUM DEMO — FINAL FANTASY XV whisks players away to a fragmented dreamscape, introducing an original story with a few unique twists. Join young Noctis and his magical guide as you explore the fantastical world of his dreams.
