Starbucks is currently offering a free $5 credit when you send a gift card of $5 or more via iMessage. Our favorite coffee shop just rolled out ‘Starbucks Gifts‘ as an app within Apple’s messages service, and to celebrate it’s giving the first 45,000 users to follow these directions a credit. You can head over to the official landing page at Starbucks to learn more. This promotion will run until all of the credits are claimed or April 23rd, whichever happens first. Full terms and conditions below.

Read the following terms to see how you can get a promotional $5 Starbucks eGift Card (“Promotional Gift”) while supplies last. Starbucks will give away up to 45,000 Promotional Gifts to eligible customers between 4/10/17 and 4/23/17. To receive a Promotional Gift, you must purchase a $5 or more Starbucks eGift Card using the Starbucks App and meet the other eligibility requirements below. This offer is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who have an Apple Pay account, have downloaded the Starbucks App with an iPhone 5S or above and are iOS 10.2.1 and above users. If you are one of the first 45,000 people during the Promotion Period to complete steps 1-3 above and meet these promotional offer requirements, you will receive a Promotional Gift. You are not guaranteed to receive a promotional gift. You are only eligible to receive one Promotional Gift. Qualifying customers will receive the Promotional Gift via email to the email address associated with their Apple Pay account. Starbucks will not be responsible for any late, lost, misrouted, or non-delivered e-mails, or other computer- or communications-related failures, caused by events beyond the reasonable control of Starbucks.
