Displays: LG 60-inch HDTV $800 (orig. $1300), Acer 27-inch widescreen monitor $300 (orig. $450), more

Best Buy has kicked off its Labor Day Savings Event offering a number of discounts including up to 25% off HDTVs.

While there is a wide selection of options from Samsung, LG, Sony and others, our favorite deal of the bunch is the 60-inch LG 1080p 120Hz LED TV (2013 Model – 60LN5400) for $799.99 shipped. That’s $500 off the original price, $179 off Amazon’s listing, and the best price we can find on this HDTV. Tiger Direct’s non-manufacturer refurb is only $25 less and Newegg charges as much as $900 for a refurbished model.

It features a full 1920 x 1080 resolution, various inputs: 2 HDMI, 1 USB, 1 RF, 1 component, 1 composite, 1 digital audio out (optical) and a refresh rate of 120hz. It comes with a stand, the remote and 2 AA batteries. The LG 60LN5400 comes with a limited 1 year parts and labor warranty and has received 4.5/5 stars from 99 Best Buy customers and 4.6/5 stars on Amazon.

Newegg also has the Acer 27-inch WQHD Widescreen Display (K272HUL) for $299.99 shipped. That’s $170 off the original listing, about $93 off Amazon’s listing, and the lowest we can find anywhere. It features a 2560 x 1440 resolution, various inputs: 2 x HDMI, 1 x DVI (W/HDCP), 1 x Display Port (in), 1 x Display Port (out) and has received a 4.4/5 star rating on Amazon.

If you’re looking for something a little smaller, Newegg also has the 24-Inch Acer LED-Lit Monitor (B243PWL) for $199.99 shipped using code EMCPBHC25 (the lowest we can find by $50).
