In today’s best game/apps deals, Target is offering The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PS4 and Xbox One for $41.99 shipped (+ 5% off for REDcard holders). That’s $19 under the regular price and the best we have seen the likely 2015 game of the year contender go for. Widely praised for its massive open world, narrative, and player choice driven gameplay, fantasy RPGs don’t get much better than this.

Each action will have consequences which change the story and the game world. NPCs, communities, monsters and locations all change, based on player choice.

As for Best Buy’s weekly game deals, Watch Dogs is $12.99 (Reg. $30) on all platforms and there’s a buy two pre-owned games and get one free sale running right now including games like GTA V, Destiny, COD titles, and more.

At Amazon, you’ll find Skylanders Trap Team Starter Pack on PS4 for $24.95 Prime shipped (Reg. $30+) and the Trap Team Tablet Starter Pack (iOS, Android, & Fire OS) still down at $19.95 Prime shipped.

This weekend’s iOS/Mac deals include the first price drop on Sid Meier’s Starships: $9 (Reg. $15) and a sale on the very highly rated Splashtop 2 Remote Desktop for iPad and iPhone: $1 ea. (Reg. $5). Other notables include Toca Band: FREE (Reg. $3), Space Qube: FREE (Reg. $3), Pure Pinball: FREE (Reg. $3), Don’t Run With a Plasma Sword: FREE (Reg. $1), and even more here.
