Most of us are wielding a smartphone device and a tablet in our daily lives now, but there are certain groups of consumers that are still without an easy way to consume content from family and friends. Perhaps it’s a grandparent or someone that isn’t as technologically savvy. A new product called Loop is hoping to fill that need in the market today. This retro-inspired iPad look-alike has a 10-inch IPS display that is designed to simplify communication and content consumption.
On the side is a knob and button interface that allows you to scroll through a variety of ‘channels’. This includes social channels like Facebook, YouTube and Instagram or a stream of photos supplied by your computer or another family member. In fact, someone can send images or video direct from the free smartphone app. It has a built-in microphone that makes browsing easier without the need to be intimately familiar with an operating system. Loop is powered by an internal four-hour battery, so you can take it on-the-go. It is currently available for $199 and would certainly make a fun Christmas present this year.
Picking up the phone can be time consuming and stressful, heck your schedules may never align. Loop helps you bridge the gap in a way that fits your lifestyle and brings joy to the ones you’re connecting with. Setup has never been this easy! Plug it in, connect it up, and enjoy your photos and videos immediately. When mom turns the knob, you’ll know she saw your latest picture. You’ll never have to ask again. Loop creates channels from your favorite sources and helps keep your private photos and videos private.
