Amazon Startup Week Deals: TarDisk 256GB Storage Expansion Card for 13-inch MacBook Air $100 off, more

Amazon has now launched a new promotion known as Startup Week as part of its Launchpad program. It will feature Daily Deals from now through November 8th on a wide range of electronics, home goods and more. One standout deal that has caught our eye is the TarDisk 256GB Storage Expansion Card for 13-inch MacBook Air at $299 shipped. That’s the lowest Amazon has offered it for, about $40 under our previous mention and the best we can find. Additionally, the 128GB model is down at $118, which is the lowest we have tracked on Amazon.

We have been using TarDisk storage in our MacBooks for a while now and everything has performed perfectly. While certainly not cheap, they are one of the best ways to quickly add some extra storage to your aging internal drive. You can get a complete breakdown in our hands-on review. Rated 4+ stars from over 180 Amazon customers. More details below. And you can use this handy tool to find out for sure which TarDisk model is best for your Mac.

Today’s offer will only be available for today and tomorrow so it is a good idea to bookmark the Startup page for more deals throughout the week. It is now November and Amazon has launched its Black Friday 2016 Deals Store as well. You can get the full details on that right here.

More details:

TarDisk is like nothing you have seen before. With one click, our Pear technology pairs your memory with ours. Pear actually increases the size of your Macintosh HD. Just a little bit of magic so you never run out of space again

Unlike any other product, TarDisk merges with your MacBook’s internal HD to expand it while keeping all of your files in one place at the speeds you expect. No slowing down, no compromise.
