Logitech’s new Spotlight Remote brings Apple design-cues to a presentation near you

Let’s face it, presentation remotes just aren’t very cool. It’s hard to make any PowerPoint accessory cool. But, just perhaps, Logitech has done just that. Announced today, the new Spotlight Presentation Remote brings Apple-like design cues with an all-metal outer shell to your next big event.

The driving “cool-factor” behind the Spotlight is its myriad of functionality beyond skipping to the next slide. It’s designed to make giving a presentation just a bit easier, with built-in vibration alerts (timed by the user) and additional functions like volume control and magnification. All of which is handled via Bluetooth or USB connectivity with a 100-foot wireless range. Like so many other devices released in the last year, it comes in gold, slate (Space Gray) and silver. It is available for pre-order today with a $129.99 price tag.

Use the on-screen cursor to play and pause videos, open links, and enjoy a range of rich content interaction. No need to break your flow and go anywhere near a mouse or laptop. Highlight like never before with Spotlight’s advanced pointer system. Choose your preferred mode to precisely highlight areas of focus or magnify them in pixel-perfect detail. Spotlight connects instantly via USB receiver or Bluetooth® Smart. It’s plug-and-play on most platforms and compatible with all popular presentation apps. Plus, it’s fully rechargeable and boasts a 100-foot operating range.
