Bond integrates with SmartThings, Nest and iPhone to make any home a smart home

bond_ir_blaster

Bond is a new smart home gadget which seeks to bring iPhone and voice control to older devices you may have in your home. The gadget connects to your smartphone over Wi-Fi and controls other applications through inferred or radio frequency. Unlike other devices we’ve featured, Bond hopes to add smart functionality to devices we already have in our homes, rather than replace them. From controlling your ceiling fans, motorized window shades and even your fireplace, Bond hopes to turn any home into a smart home. At launch, Bond claims to support popular devices such as the Amazon Echo, Nest, SmartThings, Honeywell and more.

While Bond doesn’t currently have a ship date, it is available for preorder now at the starting price of $99.

Your home is already SMART. BOND turns your existing appliances to SMART in seconds. So how does it work? Download the app. Point your old remote at the BOND and wait for the light to turn blue. Control your appliances from your phone or any smart device. We keep it simple – No hardware to install.
