Pure Cycle’s latest creation, Volta, hopes to be the “smartest eBike ever.” Recently launching on Kickstarter, Volta delivers a top-notch eBike in a sleek and budget-friendly design. It only weights 35 lbs, but provides 40 miles per change along with a variety of features.
Volta comes in black and white finishes and is available with either belt or chain driven options. It sports four different riding modes, so if you need to be somewhere in a hurry, or want to stretch the battery life, Volta has you covered. It also supports built-in fitness tracking for monitoring how many calories you’ve burned, or how many miles you’ve traveled. And with anti-theft GPS tracking, you’ll never have to worry about losing your ride. Volta is available to back now on Kickstarter at the starting price of $1,499. While it has met its funding goal, there’s still 38 days until the campaign ends. If all goes well, the bike will be shipping sometime of May later this year.
