Update: Amazon offers the APC Back-UPS UPS with Mobile Power Pack + USB Ports for $52.02 shipped (Reg. $70).

Newegg offers the APC BGE90M Back-UPS 125VA 3-outlet UPS with dual USB ports for $24.99 shipped when promo code EMCXRJRD2 is applied during checkout. For comparison, this model has an $80 list price but usually sells for around $40. Amazon has the non-USB version currently listed at $45. Rated 4.2/5 stars. I’ve had this UPS for a few years now and I can speak to the benefits of having battery-powered USB ports in a storm. It will also keep your modem and router running for up to four hours, too.

APC BGE90M Features:

  • The BGE90 UPS backup battery helps you stay connected to the Internet during power outages
  • Ultra efficient small UPS design maximizes runtime for low-power devices such as Amazon Echo and network routers
  • 4.5 hours of extended runtime provides instant battery power to your critical electronics when the power goes out
  • 3 outlets provide battery backup power and surge protection with convenient USB ports to recharge mobile devices, including tablets, during an outage
