A few months back, Logitech first unveiled its Powerplay line of accessories designed to deliver professional-level gaming performance in a wireless package. Fast forward to IFA 2017 and Logitech is expanding its lineup with two new products featuring the same LIGHTSPEED technology.
Today’s announcement includes the G613 wireless mechanical gaming keyboard, a product that covers a few buzzwords that typically don’t go together. It’s hard enough to make a solid wireless mechanical keyboard, but one that’s designed for gamers? The new G603 wireless mouse is also making its first appearance today. Hit the jump for more.
The new low-lag wireless keyboard is sure to be a hit with those looking for a mechanical feel without the added clutter. Logitech promises a 1ms latency rating, which is particularly impressive for this type of product.
Gamers are known for preferring wired setups, so Logitech will undoubtedly have some convincing to do in this area. In addition, the actuate switch for each key is just 1.5mm, which is 25% shorter in distance than most competitors, according to Logitech. Users can expect up to 18-months of gaming with two AA batteries. The Logitech G613 LIGHTSPEED Keyboard will sell for $149.99.
Meanwhile, Logitech’s new G603 gaming mouse offers up to 500-hours of use before needing to be recharged. It has accuracy to 12,000DPI and “10x the power efficiency of previous generation sensors.” Logitech also announced a new table-sized mouse pad today that is made to help deliver the same type of high-speed performance in partnership with this device. The mouse itself will sell for $69.99 with the pad listed at $49.99.
