Microsoft kicked off the next generation gaming at Gamescom last month. The Xbox One X Scorpio Edition was a limited edition version of the new console that experienced record-setting sales numbers in the first five days. The Scorpio Edition was the fastest-selling Xbox pre-order ever, according to Microsoft.
But don’t worry if you didn’t manage to get your hands on one of those yet, the standard edition of the “most powerful console ever” is going up for sale today at $499.99.
If you are looking for how to pre-order the Xbox One X, look no further. It is a good idea to bookmark your favorite listing ahead of time. It might even be smart to keep a couple options open. We are expecting to see listings go live today at around 1pm, but be sure to check back regularly in case anything pops off early.

The Xbox One X features 6 teraflops of graphical horsepower, a 4K Blu-ray player, and works well with 1080p screens despite its high-end specs. You can also expect all Xbox One games and accessories to work on the enhanced machine.
In fact, Microsoft has produced a helpful list of titles that are, or will be available with Xbox One X enhancements. That can include everything from better graphic fidelity, to faster frame-rates and more impressive texture work.
Just a few of those titles include Ark Survival Evolved, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Dishonored 2, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, EA Sports FIFA 18, EA Sports Madden NFL 18, Final Fantasy XV, Forza Horizon 3, NBA 2K18, Monster Hunter World, and many more. You can browse through the entire list for yourself right here.
Microsoft will be including special logos on physical packaging to indicate enhanced titles as well as making them easily searchable on the Xbox Marketplace. Here is more information from Microsoft regarding the new enhanced games:
The Xbox One X will join the rest of the Xbox family this holiday season, many of which are available for purchase (or pre-order right now). The Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels bundle, Minecraft Limited Edition bundle, Shadow of War bundle and Madden NFL 18 bundle, just to name a few, will all be available alongside Xbox One X come November and December.
Games play better on Xbox One X. With 40% more power than any other console, experience immersive true 4K gaming. Blockbuster titles look great, run smoothly, and load quickly even on a 1080p screen. Xbox One X also works with all your Xbox One games and accessories as well as Xbox Live, an extemely advanced multiplayer network, giving you more ways to play.
