Capturing that hilarious moment, or maybe that game-winning goal can sometimes be a challenge. There are action cameras that you can wear, sure. But, generally those are somewhat large. Smaller ones exist, but the battery life is generally terrible.

If you’ve ever been in a moment where you said “I wish I had a camera to capture that” then this is for you. Caply is a super-compact action camera that features up to 5 hours of 1080p video recording or 24 hours of timelapse recording on a single charge.

Starting at just $69 shipped on Kickstarter, this action camera is actually quite budget-friendly for the feature set. I have a GoPro HERO5 Black and rarely carry it around with me, though it’d be an awesome companion to capture some hilarity as I walk around in my daily life. That’s where Caply comes in.

Designed to be clipped to your shirt, backpack, or other items, Caply is built to capture those moments you would miss otherwise. With voice commands like “Caply, take a picture” and touch gestures, this tiny action camera is simple and easy to use.

Caply can be used in all kinds of situations. From mounting climbing to a skateboard or bike, to living life on the windshield of your car, Caply is designed to go everywhere with you.

The company behind this unique action camera even has an accessory, dubbed “Connector X”, that allows you to use Caply with existing GoPro accessories. Thanks to this, you’ll be able to mount this action camera anywhere you do desire without having to worry about a ton of proprietary connections and accessories.

Nautilus is another accessory offered by the manufacturers of Caply. It turns the action camera into a completely waterproof device capable of taking photos and video underwater without damage.

The built-in GPS system on Caply is also a unique feature not offered by many other cameras out there. This enables the action camera to remind you where that photo of a beach was taken, or your beautiful timelapse of a sunset.

With built-in EIS (electronic image stabilization), your videos should be smooth no matter what you’re doing. Live-streaming is also a key feature of Caply, as you can wear this action camera clipped to your shirt and livestream as you walk the streets of Italy, or Galveston, TX, whichever is closest.

Caply supports up to a 128GB microSD card, giving you plenty of storage to record life’s best moments. This is awesome because Caply is only 6cm in length, or about the size of a tube of lipstick. The team behind this action camera sure packed a lot into a small package.

Available on Kickstarter starting at $69 shipped, Caply is a great deal, I think. Delivery is scheduled to be in June of 2018, so you should have it just in time for summer festivities.

With over 100% of its goal already pledged, Caply is all but a reality at this point. The company has actual footage from live units that can be viewed on the Kickstarter page, as well.
