We first told you about Reolink’s completely wire-free camera last April, which had a very successful campaign through Indiegogo. Today, the company is back with its all new Argus 2 that has even more features and still offers completely wireless operation. The new security camera launched just five days ago has a long-lasting rechargeable battery, solar power options, night vision, 1080p Full HD, smart PIR motion sensor, live streaming video with 2-way audio, weatherproofing and much more.
Reolink just launched its newest security camera, the Argus 2 and it has a few new power source options. First is its long-running rechargeable battery that can last up to six months on a single charge. You can even attach the Reolink Solar Panel with a Micro USB cable to get a continuous charge for outdoor use.
The Argus 2 will capture 1080p HD video and has up to a 33 foot range with night vision. It packs an impressive Sony image sensor to better identify details day or night. There’s also a built-in 130-degree wide angle motion sensor that can detect human movement. Once it detects something, the camera will send real-time alerts to your phone via the app or it can set off an alarm and record instantly in the direction of the movement.
Reolink Argus 2 is the world’s first wire-free 1080p Full HD smart security camera. It will act like your eyes in the back of your head. Featuring remote access with live view, two-way audio, excellent night vision, PIR motion sensor with instant alerts and more features.
Other features include two-way audio with its built-in mic and speaker so you can listen in and talk back instantly. Also, the camera works well even in rain or snow thanks to its weatherproofing.
With a 130-degree wide viewing angle, the Argus 2 allows users to see more, including a remote live view on your smartphone anywhere and anytime. There’s also a Micro SD card slot available to store motion event recordings. Plus, the camera will mount almost anywhere and has different skins to help it blend in any placement.
