Starting Thursday, March 1st, AT&T will be hitting the streets of Los Angeles, Chicago and New York to offer customers special deals on a variety of its services and popular devices, including DirecTV Now and iPhone X. Along with these limited geographical offers, AT&T is celebrating the roll out of its new Unlimited Plus Enhanced plans. Full details on both can be found below.
Starting with the regional offers, AT&T will be discounting specific services and devices beginning on March 1st. New Yorkers will receive a free full year of DirecTV Now when signing up for AT&T’s new Unlimited Plus or Choice plans. Regularly $35 per month, that works out to a value of $420 per year.
Along with access to many of the most popular cable channels, New York is one of a few cities that has its local channels available on DirecTV Now. That includes WABC, WCBS, WNYW, WLBY, WWOR, WNBC, WNJU, and Telemundo, which is particularly notable when looking for a streaming service.
Moving to the midwest, Chicago AT&T subscribers will be picking up free home internet when switching to one of the new wireless plans. That includes up to 50Mb/s service or you can apply the $30 credit to faster speeds, if you prefer. AT&T says this promotion is ‘for life’, which you’ll want to eye the fine print below for more details.
Finally, those in Los Angeles can enjoy buy one get one free devices, including iPhone X when switching to AT&T’s latest plan. There are fewer details available here within the press release, but this has been a fairly typical offer in recent months from carriers such as T-Mobile and others.
The new Unlimited Plus and Choice Enhanced plans start at $80 with an included 15GB of mobile hotspot data per line. Each additional line of service if $40 with up to four lines available per plan. AT&T is also throwing in a $15 credit towards its streaming video services, which can be applied for various content including recently released movies and shows.
