Launching June 14th, Crocs has recently collaborated with Alife to create three pairs of luxurious clogs. The new line offers a sporty look, a classic look, and an art design with prices ranging from $80 all the way up to $600. These crocs are extremely unique and not for everyone, with the brands mixing trendy and classic elements together. However, Crocs just launched luxury items with its $850 foam Balenciaga platforms, which were extremely successful and sold out within minutes. They have also recently collaborated with Drew Barrymore with its “Mommy and Me” collection. Keep scrolling to find out more about these three different styles.
The stock for these new clogs are going to be limited with only 100 pairs available for each of the “art” and “sport” styles, with the “classic” style stocked at only 300. Each of these pairs of Crocs would look great paired with a t-shirt and shorts for a causal look. Especially for the sporty pair of Crocs, a laid-back outift would be best.
Starting with the most popular style from the new collection, the Sport, which looks just like a pair of regular Crocs until you realize there are socks connected to the sandal. The tube socks have a retro appeal with their red and white stripes and can be worn just like a sneaker. These would be a perfect option for the person who likes to wear socks with their sandals. Sport Crocs have a price tag of $140.
“Crocs’ iconic clog has made a global impact, not only because of its unique design, but because it serves a functional purpose. At Alife, these are the brands that we strive to work with,” said Rob Cristofaro, Alife’s founder and creative director.
The Art Clog features a selection of 3D-printed elements of New York City that’s very unique. The Crocs accessories are wedged into the toe of the shoe, which reference iconic New York landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and Brooklyn Bridge. These clogs are definitely iconic and will standout wherever you go. However, these Crocs come at a high price point of $600.
Lastly, the Classic style offers the classic Alife logo, seen on the brand’s signature apparel, and the classic Crocs silhouette, with Alife branding seen on the strap and around the toe. The large logo across the top also gives this clog a ’90s feel that’s very on-trend. The Classic Clog is the lowest priced of the three at just $80.
