Rabbit Charger gives new meaning to ‘rabbit ears,’ charges 2 devices at once

Charging your phone can sometimes be a drag. Finding the wall adapter, cable, now an outlet no one is using… With people having increasingly more technological devices, open outlets are becoming harder to come by in houses.

There are things like Anker’s multi-port USB charging hubs, and AUKEY’s dual-port USB charger, but they still require you to have a USB cable handy and take up counter space. In comes Rabbit Charger, a uniquely designed wall outlet that has a dual-ended USB cable built into it to keep your devices topped off easily.

Rabbit Charger has two USB dongles on the end of it in the shape of rabbit ears, hence the name. These dongles are changeable depending on what device you have and are on a built-in cable.

This unique wall outlet isn’t like a normal multi-port charger in that it has USB ports for you to plug things into, but the cable is built into the device. On the front, you have the logo and a regular AC outlet, and on top the rabbit ear charging station.

This charging station is a cable that can extend from 1-inches to 28-inches, and everywhere in-between. You can pull out Rabbit Charger’s cable and plug in up to two devices, be it the same style (two iPhones, for instance) or different (iPhone and Pixel).

Rabbit Charger works by plugging into your standard AC outlet and screwing on in place of the normal faceplate. By doing this, Rabbit Charger can avoid unnecessary desk or counter clutter and the cord is wound inside the unit, making it one less thing to lose or break.

There’s also an ambient light on the front of Rabbit Charger giving you a nice glow and makes this charger easy to find, even in the dark.

Rabbit Charger isn’t compatible with GFI or Decora outlets, sadly, as it has to screw on in the center of the plug for security. If you don’t care about security and are fine with the charger potentially becoming unplugged, then you could, in theory, use Rabbit Charger with any style outlet.

With a combined output of 3A from the charging cable, you can easily charge two devices at higher-than-normal speeds, giving you the topped off status you crave without waiting forever.

Rabbit Charger is available now for $49.95 direct or on Amazon, and it comes with two Micro USB charging tips and two USB-C charging tips. Adding on Lightning cables will tack an additional $10 to your order, likely due to the MFi-certification fees.
