Hello Kitty has recently collaborated with Converse for an adorable sneaker and apparel line just in time for back to school. The brands collaborated to create new features on three of the most poplar Converse styles including the Chuck Taylor All Star, Chuck 70, and the One Star. Most of sneakers are unisex and the prices in this collaboration are budget friendly with the shoes ranging from $50 to $100, while the accessories and apparel fall between $35 and $75. Sophie Bambuck, CMO of Converse, said the release of the collection is “incredibly exciting, and fun. Both Converse and Hello Kitty are symbols of expression and originality across generations, cultures and communities. Hello Kitty is whoever you want her to be to you, and Converse sneakers have always been adopted and transformed by the individuals that bring us into their lives daily, and made their own.”
Starting with the shoes in the collection, our favorite pair of sneakers are the Chuck 70 Canvas High Tops for $100. The light pink exterior will standout wherever you go and the polka dot lining is just adorable. These unique sneakers also feature a clear bottom with bows underneath as well as the Hello Kitty Icon placed on each of the sides. Finally, it also has a feminine bow on the front of the shoe for an added pop of flair.
Another pair of sneakers that we love are the One Star Suede Low Tops. These shoes feature a subtle Hello Kitty pop with her face in the hidden in the star. I also love that these shoes feature a second set of laces with an all-over Hello Kitty print as well as a red trim polka dot lining. Priced at $100, these shoes will be a casual staple in your wardrobe.
