If you’re a frequent Kohl’s shopper, then you won’t want to miss Kohl’s Black Friday Sale. Between generous Kohl’s Cash amounts and exclusive cardholder savings, you could very well score doorbusters and other deals at incredible prices. Head below to learn more about what you can expect from Kohl’s this Black Friday season:

WHEN IS BLACK FRIDAY AT KOHL’S?

In case it’s not marked on your calendar already, Black Friday falls on Friday, November 23 this year. If Kohl’s follows last year’s pattern, we could start seeing deals as early as Monday, November 19 online and Wednesday, November 21 in-store. Rather than a weekend’s worth of savings, expect Kohl’s to hold a week-long deal celebration for Black Friday 2018.

WILL KOHL’S BE OPEN ON THANKSGIVING?

While nothing official has been announced for 2018, Kohl’s stores were open on Thanksgiving Day last year from 5 pm local time. Anticipate another Turkey Day opening at Kohl’s retail locations this year.

WHEN WILL THE KOHL’S BLACK FRIDAY AD BE RELEASED?

Kohl’s was one of the earliest ad leaks we saw last year, making an appearance in the final week of October. Keep your eyes peeled this year for another late-October release.

Meanwhile, the Kohl’s Black Friday Toy Guide is now available. These deals are live now through October 21st, but also serve as a preview for what toy offers you can expect from Kohl’s throughout the holiday season.

KOHL’S FREE SHIPPING

Kohl’s typically reserves free shipping for orders over $75. However, that minimum was lowered to $50 last Black Friday. Expect the threshold for free shipping to drop again this November; a $25 minimum may not be totally out of the question.

Meanwhile, if you’re a Kohl’s Cardholder, sitewide free shipping coupons are often readily available, among other perks.

For anyone who wants to avoid shipping charges outright for smaller orders, opt for free in-store pickup where available.

HOW TO SAVE AT KOHL’S ON BLACK FRIDAY

Kohl’s Cash is not an uncommon promotion; however, Kohl’s usually ups the stakes around Black Friday. The typical promo is $10 in Kohl’s Cash with every $50 spent; in November, it’s bumped up to $15 per $50 spend. The Kohl’s Cash can’t be redeemed until after the accrual period so you won’t be able to use this free money during Black Friday week.

If you want to avail of some sort of credit, sign up for Kohl’s FREE Yes2You Rewards program. You’ll earn a point for each dollar spent. Every 100 points translates into a $5 credit. Rewards are accumulated and distributed at the end of each month so it’d be wise to hoard your October points for Black Friday. They expire 30 days after issue.

Kohl’s had both sitewide and category-specific coupons last Black Friday and will likely have the same offers this year. You can stack up to three coupons at a time, which can make for significant savings. Note, however, that electronics and select brand-names are exempt from additional savings.

However, if you’re a Kohl’s Cardholder, you’ll have access to the very best discounts. It’s not uncommon for 30% off and the aforementioned no-minimum free shipping coupon codes to be made available for cardholders. (For comparison, Kohl’s generally maxes out its sitewide coupons at 20%.)

WILL THERE BE KOHL’S DOORBUSTERS?

Last year, Kohl’s rolled out doorbusters on Thanksgiving. These limited-time deals included electronics such as TVs, smart home items, and game consoles, as well as deeply-discounted kitchen appliances. We’re anticipating much of the same this Black Friday.

WILL KOHL’S PRICE MATCH COMPETITORS ON BLACK FRIDAY?

While Kohl’s Black Friday prices may be on par with many other retailers, particularly consumer electronics, the generous Kohl’s Cash offerings may serve as an X-factor for many of these big-ticket items.

WHAT WILL BE ON SALE AT KOHL’S BLACK FRIDAY?

Expect Kohl’s to offer noteworthy discounts on gadgets and other electronics once again, especially smart home products such as Amazon Alexa-enabled devices and Nest items. These will likely have generous Kohl’s Cash amounts tied to them, making them solid deals if you end up redeeming the credit at a later date.

Meanwhile, Kohl’s has had some significant price drops on the Instant Pot over the last year. It’s possible that the 6-quart Duo model could fall to as low as $60 –which, combined with a $15 Kohl’s Credit, could make it among the best deals we’ve ever seen for this popular kitchen appliance.
