The Home Depot Black Friday savings are sure to be plenteous this year. From deals on smart home technology to security systems, appliances, and more it’s going to be a great year. We’re just about a month away from Thanksgiving and the year’s biggest shopping holiday. Keep reading to find out how to prepare for it if you frequent Home Depot.
When is Black Friday at Home Depot?
Last year, Home Depot began its sales starting at 6AM on Thanksgiving day. Officially, Home Depot didn’t actually open its retail doors until 6AM on Black Friday itself, which will be November 23rd.
When will the Home Depot Black Friday ad be released?
We first reported on the 2017 ad in early November last year. November 9th, to be exact. Previous years are normally great indicators as to what companies will do in the following season. We can expect to see the official Home Depot Black Friday sale ads start to roll out around the first or second week of November.
Home Depot Free Shipping:
You normally see free shipping on most of Home Depot items, though some carry a $45 minimum purchase to score no-cost delivery. The DIY retail giant also offers free in-store pickup, if you choose to brave the elements (and consumers) that fateful shopping weekend.
How to save at Home Depot Black Friday:
Home Depot will have many items listed in its sales, from smart thermostats to toolboxes and more. The retailer offers no real reward programs and doesn’t have any discounts outside of what will be listed in the sales. One way to save would be to keep it tuned here for when Home Depot gift cards go on sale. This would give you an easy way to save when the big day comes.
Though we saw most of the sales offered online, there were some exclusive in-store deals. Last year there was a 9 drawer steel mobile work center that was discounted nearly $100, but you had to pick it up in store.
Will there be Home Depot Doorbusters?
In years past, Home Depot has forgone doorbuster sales in lieu of limited inventory. There’s never been a set doorbuster sale in previous years. Many items will have limited stock though so it’s always best to show up early.
Will Home Depot price match competitors on Black Friday?
Yes, they will! Home Depot has a few caveats to its price match policy, but none of them should stand in the way of Black Friday deals. The only thing you might run into is if an associate wants to call another store to try and verify if that store has current stock.
What will be on sale at Home Depot Black Friday?
We’ll see a wide selection of sales during Home Depot Black Friday. Products on sale will range from smart home accessories like Nest Smart Thermostats and Google Home to appliances, tools, and even pre-lit Christmas trees. I’ll be looking out for smart thermostats and door locks personally.
