As the name implies, Scanmarker is essentially a handheld scanner. Instead of grabbing the whole page, you simply run the pen across specific lines of text. Built-in OCR technology picks up every word and turns your highlights into digital notes.

The Scanmarker Air connects wirelessly with your phone or computer via Bluetooth. The companion smartphone app lets you edit your notes and export them to Evernote, Dropbox and other cloud platforms.

In addition, Scanmarker can translate text into 40 different languages and even read barcodes. The app can also read your highlights aloud — ideal for language learners and folks with dyslexia.

The device itself is no bigger than a regular highlighter, and the battery lasts for around seven days of scanning.

You can order the Scanmarker Air for $89 and save 25% on the MSRP.
