Nintendo is officially standing strong on its handheld 2DS/3DS lineup despite the popularity of its hybrid Switch machine. Today we are getting our first notable discount on the New 2DS XL with Mario Kart 7 bundle Nintendo announced back in September. After dropping to a new price of $149.99, Newegg is now offering the handheld bundle for $129.99 shipped with code EMCEEPR65 at checkout. And that applies to all three colorways: Black/Turquoise, White/Orange and Purple/Silver. Both Best Buy and Amazon are still charging $150 for comparison. Head below for more details and over to this morning’s roundup for the rest of today’s game deals

While today’s deal is a great price for the latest bundle, it is certainly possible we see this drop even more for Black Friday. Having said that, just about all retailers are going to be focused on Switch and its ecosystem of games and accessories, so it’s hard to say for sure.

The Nintendo New 3DS XL Super NES Edition with Super Mario Kart for SNES is available again at $150 on Amazon as well. It has sat at this price since the initial drop for a while now, but it goes in and out of stock regularly.
