As the holiday’s approach, companies are trying to get last-minute product launches out. Skullcandy is trying to secure its place under your tree with the launch of its Push truly wireless earbuds, and now 1More is taking its aim with Stylish TWS.
1More’s entrance into the truly wireless headphone market should be an interesting one. They offer a MEMS microphone, high-end antenna, and can function in standalone mode where only the right bud is active. Keep reading to learn more.
1More Stylish TWS
The Stylish TWS is 1More’s entry into the truly wireless headphone market. Unlike other headphone makers on the market, 1More looks to have tried to make a smaller case that’s more pocketable for easier portability. The rounded design (or water drop design, as they refer to it as) gives these headphones a unique shape, and also should help them stay in your ears.
1More is offering the Stylish TWS in two colors: black and gold. I’m more of a fan of the gold, as it’s a lighter color and looks better, in my opinion. Inside of each bud is a 7mm dynamic drivers with a titanium composite diaphragm, meaning it’ll have balanced (yet powerful) bass and great detail. 1More claims that the Stylish TWS offers crystal clear sound in an ultra-compact design.
Multiple pairing modes make for great usability
The 1More Stylish TWS feature two Bluetooth pairing modes. Mode one will pair with both earbuds, giving you stereo audio. But, if you just want a single bud (like if you’re on a phone call), then you can just insert the right bud and it’ll work independently of the left. This is one of my favorite features when using AirPods, and I’m glad that other companies are adopting it.
Battery life leaves something to be desired
The one major downside to these earbuds is battery life. Each bud only offers 2.5-hours of talk time or music playback, with the case offering another 5 hours of charge. This is quite a bit less than say Apple’s AirPods, which offer four hours of battery per bud and another 24 hours of charge with the case.
Pricing and availability
1More currently has its Stylish TWS available for pre-order on its website at $99.95, and shipping is slated to start around the beginning of January, 2019. That’s less than a month away, and we’re expecting to see the Stylish TWS hit Amazon sometime soon, as well.
