The Ubiquiti AmpliFi HD 802.11ac Router offers mesh Wi-Fi in a gorgeous package for $120

GameStop is offering the Ubiquiti AmpliFi HD Mesh Wi-Fi Router for $119.99 shipped. That’s about $20 under what you’d pay at Amazon and the best price we can find right now. Ubiquiti’s take on how a Wi-Fi router should look is something that many of its competitors can learn from. Especially since these are supposed to be shamelessly positioned throughout your home for the best coverage possible. With an appearance like this, I’d happily put it on a countertop or night stand. While Ubiquiti claims that a single router can cover up to 6,000 square feet, you can always pick up more later on if you find a dead spot here or there. Rated 4.3/5 stars.

If you like being in Google’s ecosystem, check out its Wi-Fi Router for $99. Just like the AmpliFi HD, it too supports mesh networking and offers 1,500 square feet of coverage per router. Rated an average of 4.4/5 stars from over 5,000 Amazon shoppers.

Ubiquiti AmpliFi HD Mesh Router features:

  • WHOLE HOME WIFI SYSTEM: Not Just a WiFi router, it’s a WiFi system. The AmpliFi HD Router features an easy-to-use touchscreen display, 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 1 WAN port, and an Ethernet cable. The AmpliFi Router provides excellent coverage for standard size homes of approx. 6,000 sq ft. Expand as needed by adding MeshPoints or additional Routers to your mesh WiFi system.
  • 802.11AC TECHNOLOGY FOR FASTER SPEEDS AND BETTER COVERAGE: AmpliFi HD is more than a wireless router: it’s the ultimate WiFi system. With turbocharged 802.11ac WiFi, AmpliFi utilizes multiple self-configuring radios and advanced WiFi antenna technology to bring ubiquitous secure WiFi coverage to any home network. Delivers connectivity needed in today’s modern home for 4k streaming, smart home products, gaming, vid chats, downloads, and working from home.
