Sony is now offering new subscribers 12 months of PlayStation Plus for $44.99 via PSN. While not quite as good a value, you can also opt for a 3-month subscription for $19.99. That’s up to $15 off and the current best price around. Before you try and renew your now defunct membership, it looks as though this is only for PSN accounts that have never been PS Plus members in the past. However, it might be worth a shot, and Sony will renew this particular subscription at $59.99 if you don’t manually cancel it before it lapses. Head below for more details.

Considering this is only for new subscribers, now might be a good time to quickly go over the benefits of PS Plus. Along with access to online play, it will also yield much deeper deals during digital game sales and make the monthly freebie games available to you for keeps (as long as your membership is active), among other things.

Here are today’s best game deals including the Amazon low on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. And you might want to go checkout the “most powerful console ever”.
