Sony is now announcing its new LinkBuds S x Olivia Rodrigo Truly Wireless Earbuds, alongside revealing its launch date. Now available for pre-order, these earbuds will include two custom EQ modes that are optimized for listening to Olivia Rodrigo’s albums GUTS and SOUR.

Sony’s new LinkBuds S x Olivia Rodrigo Truly Wireless Earbuds feature two special EQs (special equalizers) tuned by Olivia and her producer Daniel Nigro for optimal listening of her albums GUTS and SOUR on any music streaming service. You’ll be able to enjoy these settings by using the Headphones Connect app, which also allows you to see the EQ UI design selected by the three-time Grammy-winning, multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter.
“I’m so excited that I got to design a limited edition LinkBuds S in the color violet. The sound is incredible, and I can’t wait for my fans to experience GUTS in this way,” says Olivia.
The earbuds and accompanying charging case come in a unique violet-marbled pattern “styled by Olivia,” who chose an environmentally-conscious design using factory-recovered plastic, reclaimed water bottles, and even recycled plastic materials from automobile parts. Due to variations in the materials, the production of the earbuds create the marble pattern which “causes no two pairs of LinkBuds S x Olivia Rodrigo to be the same,” according to Sony.
Like its sibling model, the LinkBuds S x Olivia Rodrigo earbuds feature noise-cancelling, high-resolution wireless audio, with a compact “ultra-small” and lightweight design so fans can comfortably listen to their favorite music throughout every day. Equipped with adaptive sound control and auto play, the earbuds are able to sense the user’s behavior and adjust settings for the best audio quality in the moment.
As part of Sony and Olivia Rodrigo’s collaboration, her new album GUTS has been mixed and released in 360 Reality Audio, a new immersive music experience powered by Sony’s 360 spatial sound technology. To bring fans more closer to Olivia’s music than ever before, the individual sounds from the album like the vocals, chorus, piano, guitar, bass, and more, have been placed in a 360 spherical sound field. You can enjoy 360 Reality Audio with most headphones via a compatible music streaming service like Amazon Music Unlimited or TIDAL1.
LinkBuds S x Olivia Rodrigo earbuds ship this October
Now available for pre-order, the new LinkBuds S x Olivia Rodrigo earbuds will begin shipping on October 31. It debuts with a $199.99 price tag, and will be available on Sony.com and select retailers.
