Okay so, at first glance the Fusion Keyboard 2.0 just looks like another one of those third-party keyboard add-ons for tablets or otherwise, albeit with a particularly clean aesthetic to my eyes. And, in many ways it is – it works with Windows, Apple gear, Android setups, and more and can seamlessly switch between three devices at a time at the touch of a button.
But one special feature is the invisible touchpad hidden under the keys. So yes, you can type on them like any other Bluetooth keyboard out there, but there is also a touch or trackpad in place – you can slide your fingers across the surface of the keys for navigational purposes and highlighting things on screen the way you would with a mouse. It is also ambidextrous so you can assign either side of the keys to be the trackpad.
Sure you could just pack a mouse in your bag or use the touchscreen the way it was, largely, meant to be (it is an iPad after all), but for power users and folks that feel at home on a traditional laptop, this interesting bit if invisible tech might be worth a closer look at.
