Upgrade Dad’s toolbox with the Worx 4V 3-speed screwdriver at $24 in 1-day Best Buy sale

$26 off $24

As part of its Deals of the Day, Best Buy is offering the Worx 4V 3-Speed Screwdriver for $23.99 shipped. Down from its $50 MSRP, this handy little device hasn’t gotten much discount love over the last year, with the biggest discounts coming from Best Buy over Amazon, where it is more regularly listed at higher rates. We first saw the price drop to noticeable lows during last year’s Black Friday sales when it hit $25, followed by a fall to the $20 low the following month for Christmas sales. Since the new year began, we’ve seen only one previous contending deal – the same one-day discount – happening on May 1, with today’s 52% markdown repeating the savings at the second-lowest price we have tracked. Weighing only 1.5 pounds, this device applies 300 RPM of no-load speed for a max hard torque of 44 inch-pounds and a max soft torque of 22 inch-pounds – all at the press of a button, making it useful in tighter spaces. You’ll get about 45 continuous minutes of use out of a single charge, though most people will likely use it in short bursts that drastically extends its actual battery life. It also comes with a carrying case and 12 drill bits.

If you like the above model, but wish for a more advanced option, Amazon is currently offering the Worx WX255L 4V SD Driver for $49. What’s the two most annoying things about screwdrivers? Hand straining and dropping the very screws you’re trying to fasten (especially without a magnetic tip). Well, this device not only has jaws to hold the screws for positioning, but also drives them inward with no more effort than pressing a trigger. You also won’t have to worry about keeping track of bits either, as its onboard hexagonal revolving cartridge can hold up to 6 of any 1/4-inch hex-shaped bits for effortless switching as you need them (kind of like a revolving magazine on a pistol). Plus, the 4V battery can hold a charge for up to 18 months if not in continuous use.

And for more powerful driving action, you might also consider the Worx Nitro 20V SwitchDriver 2.0, a 2-in-1 cordless drill/driver, down at $90, with rotating 1/4-inch dual chucks, a variable speed trigger, 445 inch-pounds of torque, and able to hit up to 1,700 RPMs. It also comes with a carrying bag, plenty of bits, a belt hook, a 2.0Ah battery, and a quick charger.

With Father’s Day right around the corner, are you still struggling to find a great gift idea that blows Dad’s expectations out of the water? Cast off thoughts of ties, cheap shirts, etc. by checking out the Worx Landroid Robotic Lawn Mowers that cover 1/8-acre to 1/2-acre yards in one fully-charged sitting. There’s equally autonomous cleaning solutions for pools too – with Aiper’s 2024 Surfer S1 Solar-Powered Pool Skimmer having recently fallen to a new all-time low. You can also head over to our Green Deals hub for more discounts on electric tools, power stations, EVs, and more.
