The Sonos Ace have been making headlines ever since they debuted (and even before that) as the latest and greatest in premium over-ear headphones. While we did see some notable deals in Excellent condition Open-Box listings via Best Buy, scoring a brand new set on sale has remained all but impossible. Until now, sort of. Over at Adorama, the regularly $449 headphones remain as such, but if you team up with a buddy you can score two sets at $853 shipped. That’s certainly not a massive price drop at $426.50 a pair, and not quite as low as the open-box offers at $403.99 via Best Buy in both black and white, but it is still the very first chance to save we have seen since release.
After getting a chance to go hands-on with the latest from the brand, we said “Sonos Ace sets the new standard for prosumer headphones.”
They feature custom-designed drivers alongside “mind-blowing” lossless and spatial audio over Bluetooth or USB-C as well as Active Noise Cancellation that “pinpoints and neutralizes external sounds for maximum immersion…turn on Aware mode to hear what’s going on around you.” The extendable stainless steel band and rotating ear cups join plush memory foam ear cushions alongside up to 30 hours of battery life with Active Noise Cancellation enabled (land an additional 3 hours of battery life with a quick 3-minute charge via the included USB-C cable).
