Amazon is offering the MAREY Power Pak 12 kW Electric Tankless Water Heater for $107.97 shipped. Down from $174, which is already down from its $230 MSRP, this device saw frequent discounts landing every one to two months over the course of 2023, with October seeing the biggest drop to $138. Since 2024 began, deals slowed significantly until last month’s drop to the former $107 low. Today’s deal comes in just a smidge behind May’s discount as a 38% markdown (53% off its MSRP) and lands it at the second-lowest price we have tracked – within $1 of the all-time lowest we have seen.
This 220V electric tankless water heater arrives as a solution for affordable water heating within apartments and smaller homes, like cabins or even a tiny house – or you can use it as a point-of-use in commercal and industrial applications. It provides a maximum of 2 points of use and up to 2.2 GPM at 35-degrees Fahrenheit temperature rise. It features a backlit LCD display for easy temperature selection, with a simple installation and electrical connection process. It is not recommended for elevations above 2,000 feet.
If you’re looking for a much larger and more powerful unit, Amazon is also offering the EcoSmart ECO 27 Electric Tankless Water Heater for $398, down from $599. This 240V water heater provides a range of 2.7 and 6.5 GPM of water flow depending on your inlet water temperature, making it an ideal fit for larger homes in warm climates and smaller whole-home applications in colder climates. It is only 3.7 inches by 17 inches by 17 inches, taking up far less space than a standard water heater while being “99% thermal energy efficient.” Its sleek and compact design features a digital output temperature display and fits pipes with a 3/4-inch NPT. It does require a 3 x 40A double pole breaker.
