Inside first looks at new LEGO 75392 Creative Play Droid Builder set with exclusive minifigure

First look new set!

Update: LEGO has officially revealed the 75392 Creative Play Droid Builder set for pre-order at $99.99 shipped.

The big reveals just keep on coming! Hot on the heels of our coverage of the upcoming LEGO Star Wars C-3PO figure, as well as the The Dark Falcon and TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-Up sets, we’ve got yet another first look for you. Courtesy of an Australian LEGO certified Store, these are the first insights into what to expect from the playful LEGO 75392 Creative Play Droid Builder set that is poised for official launch come August 1, 2024.

With this new building set, you’re encouraged to stretch your creative legs (I mean, it is right there in the title) and customize your very own Star Wars droids. Stacking up to 1,186 pieces in all, you’ll have everything you need to build your own mini versions of R2-D2, Chopper (C1-10P), QT-KT, and R5-J2 – with plenty of adorable accessories like different hats, sunglasses, bowties, headphones, and even a duck pool float.

At first glance, one might think this kit is aimed at the younger builders in the crowds, but LEGO’s team have included a shiny lure to attract younger builders and older collectors alike – a 25th anniversary minifigure of a young Princess Leia (in her likeness on the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series) alongside her own personal droid, Lola.

The 1,186-piece LEGO Creative Play Droid Builder set will officially be available to purchase on August 1, 2024, and is set for $169.99 shipped in Australia, which should convert over to somewhere around $99.99 shipped in the U.S.
