First looks on new LEGO 75385 Ahsoka Tano’s Duel on Peridea and 75396 Desert Skiff and Sarlacc Pit sets

Sneak peek New set!

The LEGO Star Wars fandom has been quite abuzz this week, what with the many upcoming build sets being spotted abroad, giving us our first insights at what to expect come August. Today, we’re adding two more to our list of reveals, thanks to German retailer, Lucky Bricks, who has given us the chance to check out the 75385 Ahsoka Tano’s Duel on Peridea set alongside the 75396 Desert Skiff and Sarlacc Pit set. Head below to get a closer look at all these new kits have to offer.

These two new building sets are giving us some new age flair next to a little classic spice, both of them bringing along plenty of excitement and action with them. These kits will officially release August 1, 2024, alongside four other known sets: 75389 The Dark Falcon, 75393 TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up, 75398 C-3PO, and the 75392 Creative Play Droid Builder set.

  • 75385 Ahsoka Tano’s Duel on Peridea: US $54.99 / €54.99
  • 75396 Desert Skiff and Sarlacc Pit: US $79.99 / €79.99

First up is a spotlight on the fan favorite character and all-around badass, Ahsoka Tano. Since her first appearance as a raxshir-taming infant in Tales of the Jedi, she was destined to be something great and fierce to admire, despite the fandom’s initial negativity towards her gaining more screen time on Clone Wars.

Now with the success of the Ahsoka live-action series, 75385 Ahsoka Tano’s Duel on Peridea has been a highly anticipated set. Stacking up to 382 pieces, it comes packed with an amazing lineup of character minifigures. Of course you’ll get Ahsoka herself, in her white ensemble, as well as Ezra Bridger, Morgan Elsbeth, a Night Trooper, and the long-awaited return of the Grand Admiral Thrawn minifigure!

Throwing it back to the original films, the second building set focuses on one of the most highly debated topics of the Star Wars universe: The Sarlacc Pit (at least in terms of Boba Fett’s survival – which was even depicted in a fan-made and produced comic many years ago FYI). The only thing we’ve seen in terms of the Sarlacc Pit has been custom builds (like this amazing depiction of its buried anatomy), so the 75396 Desert Skiff and Sarlacc Pit set is a nice addition with a tried and true format for LEGO.

Stacking up to 558 pieces, you’ll also be getting the Jabba-preferred execution vehicle of choice, plus it also provides a nice minifigure lineup: Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, Han Solo, Lando Calrissian disguised as a guard, Chewbacca, and an exclusive 25th anniversary Nien Nunb minifigure to round it all out!
