Earlier this year, before the debut of its new retro-style home speaker, Bose debuted its SoundLink Max Portable Speaker, and it’s now seeing its very first price drop for the fall Prime Day festivities. This regularly $399 release delivers a larger format Bluetooth speaker while still remaining entirely portable and is now down at the $299 shipped all-time low. This is $100 in savings on both the black and blue colorways that lands as a subsequent Amazon all-time low.

As detailed in our launch coverage, the new SoundLink Max Portable Speaker delivers a familiar look and feel as the rest of the brand’s SoundLink lineup, but in a more powerful and slightly larger form-factor with “deep, rich bass for a sound that will truly wow the party.”

The removable rope-style handle brings some boombox vibes alongside up to 20 hours of battery life per charge, a water- and dust-proof IP67 design, and the ability to pump out “epic stereo sound.” Made of a combination of aluminum, fabric, nylon, plastic, silicone, and steel, you’ll also find an onboard “USB-C port to power up from the speaker’s built-in battery.”

Get a closer look in our initial feature piece here and be sure to scope out the brand new SoundLink Home Bluetooth Speaker that debuted last week for the fist time.
