Just after seeing Nintendo launch a wide-ranging holiday eShop sale alongside its annual 2024 gift guide, Woot is once offering the new Sonic X Shadow Generations for Switch down at $39.99 Prime shipped (a $6 delivery fee will apply otherwise). This relatively new release regularly fetches $50 and you can now scoop a copy up at 20% off the going rate – it has never dropped below $45 at Amazon. The past meets present in Sonic X Shadow Generations as both modern and classic Sonic team up to, once again, defeat Dr. Eggman across a “greatest-hits collection of 3D and 2D versions of iconic stages from past Sonic games, now with updated visuals and reworked cinematics.” This standalone campaign, of course, also features Shadow as the titular hero journeys “into his past, confront his memories, and unlock new dark powers to save the world.”
