Equipped with a super cardioid pick-up pattern, this JBL microphone “is hyper-focused on your voice” so it “won’t pick up random sounds around the room.” Along the base you’ll find a control knob that lets you quickly dial in gain and even the volume of your headphones – if you wind up plugging some in. The same knob can also be pressed to mute your mic which turns the onboard LED red so you immediately know that you’re muted.
