SanDisk’s popular 1TB Extreme Portable SSD returns to Black Friday pricing at $100 shipped

Amazon has now knocked the price on the popular SanDisk 1TB Extreme Portable Solid-State Drive down to $99.99 shipped. While typically fetching $155 at Best Buy where it is now on sale for $111, today’s deal is matching the Amazon holiday price from last year and only the second time we have seen it down this low there. While it does carry a regular price of $116 directly from Western Digital these days and dropped to $95 for a brief time in December via B&H, today’s deal is still the lowest around and quite a notable offer on one of the most notable portable SSDs out there. Sitting atop our roundup of the best portable models, this one delivers a solid build with 2-meter drop protection and IP55 dust/water resistance. That’s alongside USB 3.2 Gen 2 support and an NVMe-based SSD that can move data at up to 1,050MB/s with convenient USB-C connectivity and a carabiner loop. More details below.

Apple’s latest black Mac accessories see rare discounts: Magic Keyboard $190, more from $95

Amazon is now discounting the all-new series of black Apple Mac accessories for the only the third time. After being refreshed back in March of last year, we’re now seeing some rare price cuts go live on all three updated styles of Apple’s popular Magic peripherals that include free shipping across the board. Leading the way, Apple’s new Black Magic Keyboard with Touch ID is a highlight at $189.99. Down from $199, today’s offer delivers a match of the second-best price to date and the first chance to save since November. It comes within $1 of the all-time low, as well. Apple’s Magic Keyboard elevates your desktop workstation with a metal build that complements the rest of your devices. This model in particular sports black keys to pair with the brand’s latest scissor key switches underneath. Perfect for paring with Mac or iPad, there’s Lightning port on the front to top off the rechargeable battery that rounds out the package alongside a built-in Touch ID sensor. Head below for more.

Smartcloud-US (95% positive lifetime feedback) via Amazon is offering the Wansview 1080p USB Webcam for $14.39 shipped exclusively for Prime members. Down from $24 without Prime, today’s deal marks a return to the all-time low that we’ve tracked only one time in the past earlier this month, making now a great time to pick up this webcam. This USB webcam is a great way to upgrade your workstation for web meetings or streaming in 2023. It features a 1080p sensor and auto focus technology that allows it to detect a face or object “within 0.5 seconds” to ensure it stays crystal clear. SanDisk’s latest 2TB PRO-G40 Thunderbolt portable SSD hits new all-time low at $380, more

Reg. $450 From $280

Update: Amazon has now knocked the SanDisk Professional 1TB PRO-G40 SSD down to a new $249.99 shipped all-time low. Regularly $300, this is $50 off, the lowest price we have tracked, a new Amazon all-time low, and the best we can find. Details and specs are as follows.

Amazon is now offering the SanDisk Professional 2TB PRO-G40 Thunderbolt Solid-State Drive for $379.99 shipped. This model released for the first time back in October at $450 as the latest in SanDisk’s professional lineup. After seeing its very first price drop to $400 at the top of the year, it has now fallen to a new Amazon all-time low at $70 off the going rate. The 1TB is also still at the best price we have tracked at $279.99 shipped. Delivering notable 2,700MB/s transfer rates, the PRO-G40 features dual mode Thunderbolt 3 (40Gb/s) and USB-C (10Gb/s) connectivity we just recently put to the test. It also sports a cool aluminum core to act as a sort of heatsink during longer transfers alongside a rugged build with a metal and rubberized shell, IP68 dust/water resistance, 4000-pound crush resistance, and 3-meter drop resistance. Don’t need Touch ID? Apple’s prev-gen. full-size Magic Keyboard just dropped to $100

Amazon is now offering Apple’s previous-generation Magic Keyboard with the Numeric Keypad for $99.98 shipped. Regularly $129 directly from Apple and elsewhere, this is $4 under our previous mention and the lowest we can find. It also comes within $1 of the best price we have tracked on Amazon and marks the first notable price since the holidays last year. It might not be the latest model with built-in Touch ID, but that one starts at over $175 right now. And if you’re anything like me, the Touch ID is really more of a fun, novel feature when it comes to a personal Apple keyboard you’re just using at home anyway. The expected built-in battery with Lightning charging is in place here alongside the numeric pad extension on the right side. A notable option for spreadsheet work or even working in pro apps like Logic, this is one of the more affordable ways to land a full size Apple keyboard. Head below for additional details.

Joining an ongoing price drop on the 4TB standard edition model, Amazon is now offering the SanDisk 1TB Extreme PRO Portable Solid-State Drive for $129.99 shipped. Regularly $240 at Best Buy where it is now matched, this model more typically sells in the $200 range at Amazon and is now at the lowest price we can find. Today’s deal is essentially matching the holiday and Black Friday price from last year outside of a very brief price drop down to $128. As you’ll know from our hands-on review, the pro-grade SanDisk Extreme delivers much faster transfer rates than the standard counterpart at up to 2,000MB/s. The forged aluminum chassis and robust construction – it is evident how well this thing is built the second you pull it out of the packaging – are highlights here, delivering a sort of portable heatsink-like functionality alongside 2-meter drop protection as well as IP55 water and dust resistance. It ships with a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty and you can get a closer look at the details right here. Head below for more.
