Amazon’s multi-platform wireless Luna gamepad now back at $40 low (43% off)

As part of its Black Friday Week Deals, Amazon has now dropped its multi-platform Luna Wireless Gaming Controller back down to the $39.99 shipped low. Regularly $70, you’re looking at a 43% price drop to match the lowest price we have ever tracked on Amazon. There have been a few refurbished offers at retailers like Woot for less, but today’s deal is on par with the lowest we have tracked on new units directly from Amazon – this is the same price we saw for both Prime Day events this year.

While this is the official controller for Amazon’s Luna game streaming platform, it is very much just a multi-platform wireless gamepad that works across a plethora of hardware and platforms. It is compatible with everything from Windows and Mac right through to Fire TV machines and Fire tablets as well as iPhone and iPad, Android devices, and Chromebooks – it works on “any Bluetooth-compatible device” or via USB on Windows or Mac.

When used with a Fire TV Stick or display, as well as a Fire tablet, you can leverage Alexa voice commands to launch games and the like as well.

Here’s more of the most notable Black Friday pricing we are tracking on Amazon’s in-house tech:

Amazon Luna Controller features:

Designed for the best experience on Luna, Amazon’s cloud gaming service. Windows, Mac, Fire TV, Fire tablet, iPhone, iPad, Chromebook, and Android devices. When playing on Luna, pause your game on one screen then pick up right where you left off on another. Connects directly to Amazon’s custom game servers using Cloud Direct technology for low-latency gameplay. Use Luna Controller as game controller on any Bluetooth-compatible device. Offset thumbsticks, easy-access bumpers, precise triggers, responsive action buttons, and a 4-way directional pad.
