While the new SoundLink Home Speaker is my personal favorite new release from the brand, if you’re looking for even more power whether you’re at home or on the go, the deal we have today on the Bose SoundLink Max Portable Speaker is where it’s at. Regularly $399, Amazon is now offering this model in the black and blue colorways down at $299 shipped. That’s $100 off, on par with the 2024 Black Friday price, and matching the lowest we have tracked on Amazon all-time.

While you will miss out on the arguably more premium exposed brushed metal build of the SoundLink Home, the Max model on sale here today still provides a higher-end Bose construction while delivering an even more powerful sound output and a portable-ready design.

It too is a relatively new release from the brand, first debuting back in May of last year as one of the loudest portable models in the current-generation lineup.

As detailed in our launch coverage, you’re looking at a water- and dust-proof IP67 frame with a build consisting of aluminum, fabric, nylon, plastic, silicone, and steel. Battery life tops out at 20 hours per charge with a USB-C charging port that can also be used to seed extra power to “your smartphone and other gear by way of the speaker’s built-in battery.”

Get even more details in our initial launch piece here and be sure to scope out our hands-on review of the brand’s beautiful new brushed steel SoundLink Home speaker too.

Whether you’re the crew’s go-to DJ or a music lover with the best playlists, the Bose SoundLink Max Bluetooth Speaker delivers deep, rich bass for a sound that will truly wow the party. Easily bring your Bose portable speaker to any hangout, the soft removable climbing rope handle makes it easy to pick up the party speaker so the music travels wherever you go. The USB-C port on the back lets you charge any device using the speaker’s built-in battery which means if the SoundLink Max Bluetooth Speaker has power, so does your device.
