While Apple has now released another laptop equipped with M4 power in the new MacBook Air – you can already score one for $50 off at Amazon with no trade needed, this morning we are zeroing-in on a solid deal on the more powerful M4 Pro MacBook Pro. The 14-inch base model with 24GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD has now dropped down to $1,779 shipped – that’s $220 off the regular $1,999 list price and the lowest price we can find. 

The Silver model is actually going for $1,786 right now (also a solid price drop), but it is the discounted $1,779 rate on the Space Black that caught our eye. Now $220 off, this is the lowest price of the year and the best we have tracked outside of the Black Friday offer at $250 off and a short-lived holiday doorbuster in 2024. 

We are still tracking the base model M4 MacBook Pro down at $1,395, or $204 off the regular $1,599 list price for folks who just don’t need the upgraded, pro chip configuration, but that model perhaps might be a tougher sale now that the new M4 MacBook Air has arrived. 

All things considered you can score a brand new M4 MacBook Air with more RAM and the same SSD for $1,349 at Amazon right now, never mind the base 16GB models from $949. Now, the new Air is not a MacBook Pro, but it likely will and should be factored into your buying decision.
